Our story

Since 1980, one thing only: ironing

Metalnova was founded in 1980 and has since designed and manufactured ironing systems and thermo-suction boards. Initially a supplier of electric heating elements and sheet-metal components for the leading Italian appliance manufacturers, in the mid-1980s it developed its own first ironing system with a pressurised boiler for home use.

A product that stood clearly apart from anything else on the market: a sturdy chrome-plated metal structure, a rock-solid stainless steel boiler and components of absolute quality. The same philosophy that still guides every product bearing our name today.
